Hi. My name is Christopher Adam Cross (most people call me Adam), and this is a biographical site so people can find a little information about me on the web. I'm currently studying math at Appalachian State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science. So far I have a 4.0 GPA. Though I'm obviously no master of the art, I made this site and all my others from scratch--no web page editor. I prefer to use an extremely basic text editor for web design and I keep all my pages very simple because I'm not impressed with flash. It is the content that matters.
My interests outside of mathematics and web design are very diverse: philosophy and religions, psychology, theoretical physics, medicine and nutrition, folklore, mythology, linguistics and all matters of esoterica have drawn my study. I chose to focus on math because of my deep love of logic. It is very difficult to discern fact from fiction in many other subjects, but math is pure and absolute. I also like to write, especially essays and fiction such as short stories.
After I have finished my bachelor's degree, my goal is to earn a Ph.D. in either math or physics. I'm leaning toward math, but I still want to master physics, so I may...get a master's in physics before or after.
By the way, if you are a student here at Appalachian and you need help with any of the classes I have taken (see Academics page) I'd be glad to offer my assistance. I especially love Linear Algebra.
